Here’s the status of today:

1. With varying degrees of difficulty, all 3 GP’s have reclaimed their old Avatars
2. At least one has logged into ThereIM, possibly more, using old ThereIM clients
3. SamSyn has successfully migrated the possessions of all three GP’s, along with “other stuff”
4. Bruce continues to work on the Cluster. He theorizes that we may be able to use Amazon’s “Snapshot” feature to avoid the nightly downtime for backups. We’ll see.

Of course there were lots of little steps in between to ferret out problems, make fixes, etc, etc. As of right now, we’ve discovered that new-style card “Skills” weren’t migrating correctly, but SamSyn’s fixing that. There also appears to be some issue with loading outfit textures correctly, but we’re looking at that too.

SamSyn’s out for the rest of the day, so tomorrow I’ll see if he wants some more GP’s.
